چکیده
Abstract. This paper proposes a spring efficiency assessment of statically spring-balanced planar serial manipulator. The admissible configurations for the static balancing manipulators without auxiliary links have been determined in past. Gravity is balanced by configuration systematically; however, also contains counter-effects between springs. Conceptually, with fewer springs, there less burden on system, which means that springs are used more efficiently, and accordingly, system would be safer, its service life longer. In this study, energy represented quadratic form. coefficients form represent change elastic relative position links, named “elastic pseudo-stiffness”. Compared to gravity energy, those pseudo-stiffnesses regarded as positive contributions spring, while contain seen negative ones. Spring defined ratio pseudo-stiffnesses, has total pseudo-stiffnesses. To use counter-effects, functions parameters, need decreased, including stiffness attachment location links. A method efficiently adjusting parameters developed. Furthermore, it found that, attached adjacent 100 %, decreases number joints over spans increases. manipulator negatively correlated payload. As an example, 3 degrees freedom (DOF) shown at end.

Singularity Loci of Planar Parallel Manipulators with Revolute Joints
This paper addresses the problem of determining the singularity loci of 3-DOF planar parallel manipulators with revolute joints for a constant orientation of the mobile platform. The case when the base joints are actuated is of primary concern and is proved here to lead to singularity loci represented by curves of degree 42—an improved measure with respect to the one already given in the litera...

Article history: Received 13 July 2013 Received in revised form 3 August 2013 Accepted 6 August 2013 Available online 14 September 2013 The topic of reachable workspaces of robotic manipulators has received considerable attention over the past half century. One approach to generating workspaces is by sampling joint angles and evaluating the boundary of the resulting set in the space of rigid-bo...
متن کاملassessment of the efficiency of s.p.g.c refineries using network dea
data envelopment analysis (dea) is a powerful tool for measuring relative efficiency of organizational units referred to as decision making units (dmus). in most cases dmus have network structures with internal linking activities. traditional dea models, however, consider dmus as black boxes with no regard to their linking activities and therefore do not provide decision makers with the reasons...
Efficiency of nitrogen fertilization in spring wheat

متن کاملMotion planning for planar n-bar mechanisms with revolute joints
Maximizing the use of dual-arm robotic systems requires the development of planning algorithms analogous to those available for single-arm operations. In this paper, the global properties of the configuration spaces of planar n-bar mechanisms (i.e., kinematic chains forming a single closed loop) are used to design a complete motion planning algorithm. Numerical experiments demonstrate the algor...
